Accepting Change

We all have incredible power within us to manifest that which we spend our time focusing on.

Ask yourself what it is that you spend the most time focusing on.

Now look at your life and ask yourself if what you are experiencing reflects that.

Somewhere along the line the pain becomes too much.

There is beauty in the pain because it brings awareness that can lead to enlightenment.

When we come to awareness, we know that something needs to change.

As humans we want the answer right away and we want to be sure.

I can assure you that you will never be sure if you rush into a decision.

Moreover you drastically reduce the chances of a positive outcome.

When you arrive at the point the pain becomes too much, you have two choices.

The first is to rush into a decision that you are completely unsure about.

And the second is to just stop and say to yourself “something is changing”.

Then sit with that, meditate on it, write about it, talk about it with those you trust and love.

Go within, contemplate and you will know exactly what to do next.

In awareness and conscious reflection, you gain inner wisdom and that wisdom will naturally push you to the next stage, willingness.

With continued introspection and reflection, that willingness turns into courage followed by the absolute desire to take action.

Taking action then evolves into acceptance.

You cannot skip stages, you cannot do them out of order, you cannot rush through them.

If we face change as we always have, we will continue to run in circles.

The stages of the process, in order, are awareness, willingness, courage, desire, acceptance.

If you follow this process as it is meant to be followed, you will know when it’s time to move on.

If you don’t know, you are not ready.  Walk, don’t run.

If each of us could move through the difficult process of change with the introspection and reflection necessary to authentically and passionately have enough courage to take enough action for desire to shift to acceptance, the world would be transformed in all the ways we dream possible.
